"EEZY-BEET" FOR RUMINANTS
"Eezy-Beet" can play an important role in the diets of calves, dairy cows, beef animals and sheep.
It has been shown to stimulate forage intake and buffer acidic feeds helping to promote a healthy rumen.
"Eezy-Beet" is rich in fermentable carbohydrates which are present in two forms - sugars and highly digestible fibre. The sugars provide a readily available source of energy, the fibre, a digestible energy form which is realized over a period of time. This natural balance of energy sources encourages forage intake whilst maintaining a healthy stable rumen, ensuring maximum digestive efficiency over the whole diet.
Feeding Recommendations for Ruminants
Calves - To encourage early intake of calf starter feeds, apply small handfuls of pellets or soaked "Eezy-Beet" to the trough. A mix of "Eezy-Beet", Rolled Barley, Soyameal or Protein Concentrate will provide a very palatable calf meal.
Dairy Cows - 1-2kg mixed with silage or fed straight.
Sheep - 0.2-1kg depending on stage of pregnancy or lactation.
Lambs - Up to 0.75kg/day
