Wheat, wheat by-products, barley, barley by-products, maize, maize by-products, copra, palm kernel meal, oats, molasses, vegetable oil, fishmeal, milk powder, other protein sources, non-protein nitrogen, soya beans, peas, canola, sorghum, lucerne/grass meal, cottonseed meal, rice by-products, limestone, salt, dicalcium phosphate, sodium bentonite, coccidiostat, vitamins and minerals.

Caution: Use only for calves. Coccidiocide is toxic to animals such as horses and dogs.

Feed Recommendation: Use with Moozlee system to avoid growth check, or as the sole dry feed in any rearing system. Calves should be fed whole milk or milk replacer up to 5-6 litres per day until weaning. NRM GrowUp should be introduced gradually at four weeks and fed for at least 3-4 weeks after weaning. Ensure the calves have access to clean water and hay right throughout. NRM GrowUp should be offered fresh each day - if fed in troughs clean out frequently. GrowUp can be fed to dairy replacements up to 20 weeks of age to ensure good heifer liveweights at mating.

2. Alternative System Feed

NRM GrowUp and straw ad-lib from 4 days until calves transferred to pasture at 12 weeks. Continue if pasture quality or quantity is inadequate.

Coccidiosis Control - Dose rate For Coccidiosis control a minimum dose rate of 6.7mg Bovatec/kg liveweight (1mg lasalocid sodium/kg Liveweight) is required per day. Up to twice this dose is indicated where severe coccidial challenge is expected or a wide range of individual liveweights occur within a group.

  • Care must be excersised when feeding concurrently with other antimicrobials.
  • Do not feed with other ionophores
  • Ensure young animals are adapted to medicated feed 2 to 3 weeks proir to weaning, as coccidial challenge is most likely in the 8 weeks after weaning.
  • In any case initiate treatment at least two days prior to expected coccidial challenge.
